Congratulations Squared {Utah Maternity & Portrait Photographer}

Remember Kristin and Mark and their totally cute Christmas announcement?  Well it's a season for celebration in the Bishop household this spring.  They have both graduated from BYU and Kristin is ready to pop!  We can't wait to welcome little Hank into the world and for you both to embark on this exciting chapter in your new life together!

Jamestown Wealth Management {Utah Portrait Photographer}

I had the opportunity to capture this good looking and sharp team of financial planners.  Not only are they smart and great at making you money, but they seem like they really have a good time in the office to boot!

Johnathan The Dragon {Utah Baby Photographer}

I first saw these crocheted dragon get-ups on Etsy and I fell in love with it instantly.  Michael's cousin Rikki was so amazing and knew how I lacked in the crocheting/knitting talent department and made this outfit for Johnathan.  I couldn't think of a better way to document our little guy at just over a month old than this...I look forward to using them as ammo one day when he brings a girl home :)

Baby J {Utah Baby Photographer}

On January 10th we welcomed our beautiful son, Johnathan James Nelson, into our family.  He is such a sweetheart and quite the cutie in my opinion ::wink::  Of course we had to share his loveliness with all of our family and friends so here is a look at the quick mini session and announcement I put together for him.  Welcome to the world little guy, we already adore you so much!

Nelson Maternities {Utah Maternity Photographer}

One of the perks of being a photographer is you can document your own life quite beautifully.  However, funny thing...when you are the one behind the camera, getting pictures of yourself can be quite tricky.  So how did I accomplish such magic?  My amazingly beautiful and supportive best friend/human tripod, Amy.  She patiently bit her tongue and helped me as I coached her through the angles I wanted, stole the camera and adjusted the settings and would say things like "ok now try to get a little higher and little further behind me".  Let's just say it's a good thing she's my best friend because anyone else would have just said "use your tripod and stop being so picky!!"  So here's to you Amy!

The Bishop's Christmas Came Early {Utah Family Photographer}

Mark and Kristin are one of the most awesome couples we know.  There's a funny backstory to these two that basically involves my husband working with both of them at two different jobs and then pushing Kristin to date Mark.  Long story short these two love birds have now been married for a while and are expecting their first baby! They wanted to announce it to their friends and family via their Christmas card, so we did a mini session and I designed an announcement to help them share their amazing news.  Congratulations you two!!
